Birmingham is getting a new Luna Cinema venue showing classic Christmas movies for the festive season. The new Winter Programme includes favourites from Home Alone and Die Hard to a sing-a-long Frozen.

Based at the Factory Works in the Custard Factory, Digbeth, there will be cosy wintry setting with Christmas trees, mood lighting and even snow to get movie-goers into the festive spirit. There will even be hot chocolate and mulled wine available to buy.

Luna Cinema promised to screen "just about every heart-warming, chestnut-roasting, festive classic there is". Movies will be shown from Saturday December 9 until Saturday December 23 and bookings open on Monday November 6 at 10am.

Birmingham's cinema will be screening films including Love Actually, Die Hard, The Muppets Christmas Carol, Elf, The Nightmare Before Christmas and many more. But there are limited showings of favourites like Sing-a-long Frozen, The Holiday and Bridget Jones' Diary - so anyone interested needs to be quick to book a seat.
