Real Betis have reportedly made a contract offer to sign Adama Traore as he is coming to the end of his contract at Wolves.

The 27-year-old will be a free agent at the end of this month after five years at Molineux. Although it looks as though the winger could be set to depart after 194 appearances, Wolves haven't given up on convincing him to extend his stay.

However, that may prove difficult following the interest from elsewhere. Traore is followed by Serie A side Napoli, Barcelona, Tottenham, clubs from Saudi Arabia and now Betis.

According to Spanish outlet Relevo, Traore has an "important proposal" from Betis on the table. Signing a winger this summer is something that Betis boss Manuel Pellegrini has made a priority.

Traore is said to have been named as "number one on the list" for the qualities he possesses. The report also adds that Betis has bet "heavily" on the player by proposing a "first-level contract" to allure him to return to his homeland.

The Spaniard also has offers from Arabia but Wolves have insisted they would like to keep him ahead of next season.

"Adama is a player we’d like to keep and we’re still talking to him," sporting director Matt Hobbs said. "He’s now out of contract, but it doesn’t mean there’s not an opportunity to still come to an agreement, so conversations will be ongoing. He’s probably earned the right to understand what else is out there."
