TikTok stars, YouTubers and social media influencers are being given the chance to try out one of the world’s biggest bouncy castles for free, at this year’s Winter Funland VIP event which will be coming to the NEC next month.

Organisers of Winter Funland have already pledged to give away 2,000 free tickets to local charities and are now ramping up the fun by giving social media influencers the chance of a VIP night at the event, trying out all of the 35 rides, the ice-skating rink, watching the motorbike stunt show extravaganza and the enjoying the indoor fairground.

Winter Funland is one of the UK’s most popular indoor fairgrounds and runs from Saturday, December 9, 2023, until Monday, January 1, 2024. It’s the perfect family Christmas experience, where visitors can enjoy four hours of unlimited funfair rides, skate on a gigantic ice rink, visit the amazing festive circus, and watch an extreme motorbike show, as well as jump on one of the world’s biggest bouncy castles – all included in their ticket price.

Winter Funland event manager Glen Ramsey said: “We have so much going on at the event this year and we want it to be the biggest success ever.

“We are very mindful of people’s economic situation at the moment, and we wanted to make sure that families can create some magical memories this Christmas. Apart from a visit to Santa’s grotto, which needs to be pre-booked, all of the attractions, including all rides, are included in the ticket price, meaning parents don’t need to worry about saying no once they are here.

“We are putting this call out to social media influencers in the region to get in touch for VIP tickets and come spread the word with us.”

To apply for a ticket for the VIP opening night, social media influencers should email max@winterfunland.com to request tickets, including links to their social media channels.

Children will be able to have plenty of bouncing fun on Winter Funland's gigantic indoor bouncy castle

This year's event will include a festive sweet and savoury food and drink market, vendors will have a yummy selection of Christmas treats as well as vegan and Halal options. However, visitors should watch out for the mischievous elves who will be popping up around the event. And of course, there’s the chance to meet Father Christmas in the grotto.

Due to the sheer number of attractions, families are asked to ensure they leave enough travel time to include the courtesy bus or walking time from the car park at the NEC to the event in Hall 5. In the waiting foyer area last year, the event included a high wire tight rope walker to entertain visitors before they entered the venue, and locals are encouraged not to miss this year’s surprise either.

A range of daytime and early evening tickets are available, tickets cost £29.50 and family tickets are £116 plus a booking fee, as the event is strictly capacity controlled early booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.

Children under three and carers go free but still require a ticket. Tickets can be booked via the website.
