West Midlands Ambulance Service has issued a statement after a car flipped over and closed a road in Wolverhampton. The crash took place on the A460 Cannock Road, in the Fallings Park area of the city.

West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) said it was called to the scene at 5.59am today, November 16, and sent one ambulance and paramedics officer to the scene. Paramedics said they found a man who was the driver of the car and thankfully he did not require treatment.

Cannock Road was closed for a 0.8 mile stretch between Deyncourt Road and Park Lane, with National Express West Midlands saying that it's 11 and 25 buses were disrupted. A WMAS spokesperson said: "We were called at 5.59am to an overturned car on Cannock Road, Wolverhampton.

"One ambulance and a paramedic officer attended the scene. Upon arrival we found a man who was the driver of the car. He did not require assessment from ambulance staff and was discharged at the scene."
