Birmingham has a fantastic bar and restaurant scene and the almost year-long closure of our hospitality businesses has hit foodies particularly hard.

Sometimes we'll catch ourselves day-dreaming Hothead burger from Bonehead , award-winning fine dining from Adam's, or a delicious Cantonese feast at Chung Ying.

Most of these wonderful restaurants are now offering food for delivery but let's face it, it is just not the same. Nothing can beat the pure joy of dining out and we're keeping our fingers crossed that lockdown restrictions lift soon.

In the meantime, we thought we'd test your knowledge of some of the best-loved venues in our city with the ultimate Birmingham foodie photo quiz.

The premise is simple - can you name each of these 20 restaurants from a single photo?

Pull it off and you'll prove yourself to be a proper Brum foodie, as we bow to your incredible knowledge of our city's food and drink scene.

Where is this?

Good luck, and let us know how you get on in the comments.

As well as all the restaurants in our quiz there are also lots of new places that have opened over the past year.

Venues to try when we out of lockdown include city centre eatery Eight and 670 Grams in Digbeth helmed by Solihul born Kray Treadwell - recently named Michelin's Best Young Chef of The Year.
