Two 12-year-old boys have been charged with murdering Shawn Seesahai, 19, in Wolverhampton. Mr Seesahai died after being fatally wounded in the East Park area of the city, just before 8.30pm on Monday, November 15.

West Midlands Police says the 12-year-olds were arrested on Tuesday evening and, following a warrant of further detention from the court, they were charged this evening, November 16. The boys have also been charged with possession of a bladed article, according to the force.

Both boys, who cannot be named due to their age, have been remanded in custody to appear at Birmingham Magistrates' Court tomorrow, November 17. A police presence will remain in East Park to reassure the community, police have said.
