Birmingham has seen some huge changes over the years, from the huge developments in the city centre to the regeneration of some of its suburbs. Roll back the decades and some popular neighbourhoods in the city may look almost unrecognisable to what they are now.

With that in mind, we've decided to take a look through our archives and put together some photos of what the high streets or main roads in Brum's suburbs used to look like for a fiendish quiz. The below questions span several areas across the city, showing the ways it has drastically changed over the past century or so.

If you've got any distinct memories of the places included, share them in the comments section as we'd love to hear them. You can find the quiz below - let us know how you get on.

If you're now in the mood for another quiz, you can also take one on some of the famous musicians who have performed at the Odeon in New Street. The venue was once the "must place" to see some of the world's biggest stars in the Midlands.

Well before online booking, fans queued up for hours and even days to get tickets for their favourite groups. Now showing films throughout the day, many still remember the famous cinema for hosting some legendary musicians back in the day.

You can find the quiz here.
