Police probing a shooting have issued an image of a person they want to trace. Police said their investigation continued after shots were fired on Walford Road, Sparkbrook.

A man suffered injuries to his hand at about 2.30am on July 6. A shop was also damaged, police said.

Two men were previously arrested and released on police bail with strict conditions. Now police have issued an image of a man who may have information.

In a Facebook post, Birmingham Police said: "Can you tell us who this? We want to speak to him as part of on-going investigations after shots were fired in Walford Road, Sparkbrook, at about 2.30am, on Thursday, July 6.

"A man, who suffered injuries to his hand, is now recovering following hospital treatment. Damage was also caused to a shop. Two men have been arrested and released on police bail with strict conditions as enquiries continue.
