Some of the cheapest homes to buy in the city's most affordable area can now be revealed. Recent data detailed the B6 postcode as the 'cheapest' postcode to purchase a property in Birmingham.

According to Land Registry figures, houses in B6 cost an average of £153,650 - the smallest number for postcodes across the city. One property dubbed 'ideal for first time buyers' is on sale for just £100,000 in the Aston area. Another three-bed family home is on the market accepting offers over £155,000.
