Halloween is prime time for Ozzy Osbourne as the 'Prince of Darkness', so fans were quick to look at what costume he chose to celebrate to spooky occasion. But many were left confused as the bat-eating Black Sabbath rocker and wife Sharon Osbourne shared their joint effort on social media.

While a hooded Ozzy was dressed head to toe in black with leather gloves and dark sunglasses, a svelte Sharon Osbourne was naked apart from heels and a large purple cushion covering her private parts.

Many were quick to declare the fright night costume "awesome" and the "greatest", but some hard rock fans were left scratching their heads commenting "I'm confused". You can see Ozzy and Sharon's costumes in their Instagram post below.

It was left to fans online to help each other out, explaining that Aston-born Ozzy and X Factor's Sharon had dressed up as a fellow music star. The pair were imitating 46-year-old rapper Kanye West, now known as Ye, and his partner Bianca Censori.

She was spotted holding a pillow over her bare chest while walking around the streets of Italy in September. Archaeologist Michael Boyd wrote: "I'm confused, who are you supposed to be?"

Wosoluva added: "I don’t get it. I was hoping the comment would tell me. What is she?" Robert Lewis was also confused, saying: "Why are you holding the pillow. LOL." Cheryl added "don't get it".

Those that realised it was Ye and his wife, were quick to compliment the Osbournes. Deanna wrote: "Great costumes is Ozzy Ye ( kayne)? Cause is so that’s friggen hilarious."

Author Oli London wrote: "OMG Sharon this is brilliant." Adam Standeven added: "The prince with his princess of darkness. Happy Halloween!"

Joanne Lynn said: "This is the best Sharon." Lilac Hunter added "awesome" while Joanne Twigg was among many who told the couple "you win Halloween".

Brittany said: "This is greatness. Love you both. Happy Halloween!" Colleen Danger declared the costumes "hilarious", while Christy called them "epic".

Christine Lupton added: "Absolutely fantastic. Brilliant."

Frances Garcia praised Sharon saying: "Love your spunk Sharon you go girl."
