Flowers have been left on a field where Shawn Seesahai died as two 12-year-olds appeared in court, charged with his murder. The boys, who cannot be named due to their age, been remanded into youth detention until next year.

During a nine-minute hearing at Wolverhampton Crown Court today (Monday, November 20), the youngsters spoke only to confirm their names and dates of birth. A date was then set for a plea and trial preparation hearing, which will be held on January 5 next year.

Both face a charge of murder, plus a second charge of being in possession of “an article which had a blade or was sharply-pointed, namely a machete” without lawful authority.
