A mum was left feeling upset and "targeted" when a sticker was left on her car window after visiting B&M. The unnamed mum, 24, had gone into a B&M store at the Tebay Retail Park in Bromborough, Merseyside with her young children to get some Christmas decorations.

Liverpool Echo reports she was devastated when she returned to her car and found a sticker had been put on her driver's side window. The professionally-made sticker read: "Not disabled, just a c***".

However, the mum was parked in a parent and child space, not a disabled bay. Speaking to the ECHO on behalf of the mum, sister-in-law Stephanie Fitzpatrick said: "If this person feels it is appropriate to watch someone get out of their car and apply a sticker with such vulgar language on a child's car then they need to have their head examined.

"Disabilities aren't always visible, but even so, she was in a parent and child space. People around her think it's disgusting.

"The manager at B&M confirmed she was in a parent and child bay and told her 'don't let it ruin your day'. No-one has the right to call out any disability or call anyone such disgusting language."

The mum, whose children are aged two and 14 weeks, had parked in the same space before and called the sticker "pathetic", adding she felt extremely upset and "targeted" by what happened. She was also forced to drive back home with the sticker on the window with "her child looking at it as she couldn't remove it in the car park".

Stephanie said she has shared the picture in several Facebook groups in the hope of identifying the person responsible but added: "It has put her off shopping there now and I'm sure it has put others off too."
