2021 is here and with the PS5 just launched late last year.

And for those people who actually have a console due to the massive shortages, there are tons of games that we really want to get our hands on.

The new year will have some amazing games that we can get our teeth into from a new Resident Evil to a new Horizon Zero Dawn.

And let's not forget the latest God of War after the previous game blew away fans and reviews.

Resident Evil VIII

The new Resident Evil comes off the back of the previous game - a refreshing new take on the survival horror franchise.

This year's edition takes us back with Ethan to what appears to be a spooky and deadly village and some crazy inhabitants.

You can download the new demo on the PS5 right now. It will be released in May.

Horizon: Forbidden West

Everyone wanted a new Horizon game - and you got one. No solid date as to when the game will release but, without delays, 2021 is the year.

Returnal

A new series by developer Housemarque, the psychological horror game intrigued a slew of critics and players.

Recently it was announced that the game was delayed to April to give the "team extra time to continue to polish" it to the level of quality players expect from Housemarque."

Looking spooky and gives us those Dead Space vibes.

God of War: Ragnarok

One of the biggest games that PS5 players are looking forward to.

The previous God of War games were firm favourites with fans and this is bound to deliver the same amount of polish and pazazz that the last game had.
