UK rock and roll legend Lulu has announced a five-date UK tour for next year. Lulu, who turns 75 today (Friday, November 3), will bring her Champagne for Lulu tour to various venues across the UK.

She will perform five live dates, kicking off in her hometown of Glasgow, and visiting Manchester, Southampton, Birmingham and ending at the London Palladium next April. Special guests will join her on stage too.

Lulu will perform at Birmingham's Symphony Hall on Monday, April 15. Tickets are on sale from 10am on Friday, November 10.

In April 1964, 15-year-old Lulu stormed the charts with Shout, a song that turned the young teenager from Glasgow into a national treasure. Now 60 years on, she will celebrate her 75th year with fans across the UK.

She said: "75 – I can’t believe it! And 60 years in the business! What an amazing journey it’s been, so many memories – wow. That’s why I’m going to make sure that my upcoming shows are a momentous celebration.

"And I promise to whip up one hell of a party, all the hits, my personal stories from behind the scenes, and of course I’ll be inviting some special guests onto the stage with me. Join me, it’s gonna be the party of a lifetime."
