Competitive socialising venues are taking the city centre by storm with Flight Club, Lane7, and Roxy Ball Room already in our city - so what is so different about F1 Arcade?

You don’t have to be a professional or even an F1 fan to enjoy Birmingham's newest bar, and there are four skill levels spanning casual to pro. It opens very soon in Birmingham (just next week) and we took a sneak peek inside before it officially launched.

There are 53 full-motion racing simulators which have been designed by a leading simulator design company in conjunction with the actual F1, featuring motion and audio-visual effects to fully immerse guests in their races.

The simulators cost £15.95 for approx. 30 mins or there is also 5 races for approx. 45mins which can be booked as a team racing experience or head to head battle for smaller groups.

Drivers must be at least 7 years old to race and the new F1 Arcade in Chamberlain Square is 18+ from 6pm.

The new arcade had a launch event last night (November 15) to give a select few people a sneak peek before opening properly on November 21 next week. If you choose to go, one booking gets you around 20-30 minutes worth of racing which gives players around 4 races including fan favourite tracks such as Bahrain, Monza and Spa.

The backlit feature of the ‘Octane Bar’ bar makes the space feel cosy and warm, and there's also a jaw dropping full size Formula 1 car suspended from the ceiling, decorated with hand-painted F1 Arcade livery.

Guests can buy food and drink while they're at the arcade, with dishes such as ‘Wagyu Beef Burgers,’ ‘Spanish Seabass Ceviche,’ and ‘Wild Miso Mushroom Tacos.’ There's also a cocktail menu inspired by F1.

On Grand Prix race weekends, F1 Arcade will host Watch Party experiences, further enhancing the excitement and camaraderie of the Formula 1 atmosphere.

Pre season testing is a first look at the venue and will be from the 16 - 19 November. Walk-in racing slots will be available on a first come first serve basis throughout the weekend.

Bookings for the F1 Arcade are available to book now from Tuesday, November 21 here.
