Summar Wilkes, an apprentice dental nurse at Smile Style Dental Care Centre in Stafford, has been crowned our Greater Birmingham Apprentice of the Year 2022.
She initially won the Health, Education and Care category before being picked ahead of five other individual winners to take home the overall crown - click through here to read the full story.
The Greater Birmingham Apprenticeship Awards, held at Edgbaston stadium, were run by BirminghamLive, in partnership with the Ladder for Greater Birmingham, and celebrated individual achievement alongside the work of employers and training providers.
It is the fourth time we have held these awards which shine a light on the apprenticeship movement across the Greater Birmingham region.
