Wolves head coach Gary O'Neil sat down with the media at Molineux after his side drew 2-2 with Newcastle United in the Premier League.

The Wanderers came from behind twice thanks to goals from Mario Lemina and Hwang Hee-chan after two Callum Wilson strikes. Here's every word which O'Neil said to the media in his post-match press conference...

You must be pleased with how your team fought back from a losing position, twice, to get a point?

"I'm really pleased with the group. We've had some setbacks, some unfortunate ones, and everyone involved with the club can be proud of the team. The work-rate, the quality, the resilience - it's what we talk about. Big praise from me to the group today, I thought it was a really good effort against an excellent side that cause most teams big problems.

What did you make of the penalty in the first-half?

"There wasn't a penalty in the first half. It's a scandalous decision. Terrible. It was a terrible on field decision and terrible that VAR didn't intervene. I think they got it badly wrong.

Hwang showing the composure that we've seen all season to make up for that to score the equaliser?

"Yeah. He goes to clear the ball and makes such minimal contact with Schar, hardly any, just a glance of the boot. Schar is already on his way down and the ball actually hits Channy's (Chan) other boot before he even makes contact with Schar, so technically Chan gets the ball before he contacts Schar. That's why it was a terrible decision."

On Hwang's goal

"I never have any question marks over his mentality and his willingness to work. The fact he can refocus and get going again, that was never in doubt. I thought he was a threat. His goalscoring this season has been a big plus for us and he adds another important one.

Lots of concerns over Pedro Neto, any early indications of how he is?

"He's moving around. Obviously hamstring injuries have very different levels of severity, so we're hoping it's on the smaller side. Hodgey (Joe Hodge) had a similar one in the cup game and wasn't out too long, so we're hopeful that Pedro won't be missing for long. He's been a big part of what we've managed to do so far, but for however long he's out for, the group are ready to make sure we keep producing performances and we keep picking up points."

How do replace Neto and is Jean-Ricner Bellegarde close to being involved?

"Bellegarde's back on the grass today, saw him working hard out there this morning. That's a plus. He was close today so hopefully he can be involved at Sheffield United. Not many, maybe a couple, Premier League squads will have two wingers of Pedro's quality with one waiting on the bench to come on and play. When you lose a player of Pedro's quality, any team in this league would suffer. We'll find a way, as a group, we'll definitely find a way. It's part of the game, people get injured. I'm more devastated for Pedro really because he's been in such a fantastic spot, he works his socks off and he deserves all the plaudits he's been getting. My thoughts are more around him and making sure we get him back as quickly as possible to show the world what he can do again."

Do you think you can beat, or get points, off anyone at Molineux?

"I don't know. The performances are key. If we manage to produce performances where we're tactically sound like we were today and ready to fight for everything. Newcastle test you with that. I spoke to the lads a lot before the game around the test that is Newcastle and that they try to run you over. They've got this unbelievable momentum at the moment, just like a big bowler coming down the hill and you need to be able to stand up to that. That was the bit that really pleased me today because I thought it was going to be an extreme test on that side and the lads were up for it. xG will say different because they scored one from not far out and a penalty, but I honestly thought we were the better side today against a very good Newcastle team that are in the Champions League and I watched them pull apart PSG not too long ago. It was a real good performance, but again, it's only one performance so let's get ready to be judged again next weekend at Sheffield United."
