In a statement, police said: "We're investigating four robberies in Birmingham city centre on Tuesday 10 October and want to speak to these three men. The offences were between 8.20pm and 9.15pm with belongings, including mobile phones, bank cards and ear phones, being stolen.

"The victims were threatened with a knife and one was punched several times. Fortunately none needed hospital treatment but these were frightening incidents which have been deeply upsetting.

"We won't tolerate such behaviour in our city and officers have been working to identify and trace those responsible. Investigators are hoping that you can help put some names to these images - one is wearing a mask but you may recognise their red coat or backpack.
