"Anyone remember crunchie nuggets? They’re the chocolate in the Cadbury crunchie yoghurts, best choccy ever @CadburyUK plz re release these," Bethany said. Paul agreed and wrote: "Cadbury's Heroes are getting less heroic ever year. Went downhill when Crunchie Nuggets stopped. Haven't bought Quality Street for a long time but remember the layer of Toffee Pennies that everyone always left behind"

Bally said: "My sister is addicted to these sweets and I am fond of them myself. We are in great distress at the moment though as they seem to have disappeared off the face of the earth. We have searched all the big supermarkets in the Limerick/Clare/Tipperary area and lots of small shops and no sign of them anywhere."

"Haven't seen them in any shops recently but I'm fairly certain they're still sold at most cinemas (albeit at €3 a bag!)," another Irish fan replied. Cadbury is now directing shoppers towards its Crunchie Rocks grab and share bags. "Chunky clusters of crunchy golden honeycomb and crispy cornflakes, covered in Cadbury milk chocolate.

"Made with sustainably sourced cocoa. Vegetarian friendly," the chocolate maker describes the product as on its website.
