Mondelez says it will bring back its Cadbury Creme Egg cash promo and launch a new Creme Egg Bar. Mondelēz International is set to drive further excitement through the 2024 season with the return of the annual Find the Winning Egg campaign, which returns for a third year.

Shoppers will be told to keep an eye out for an extra special half-milk chocolate, half-white chocolate Cadbury Creme Egg. If a lucky shopper lands a winning egg in their bar, they will be rewarded with one of the hundreds of cash prizes on offer from the Bournville-based chocolate giant.

It includes the chance to win the top prize of £10,000, Cadbury says. In 2024 there will be more winning eggs than ever before, the chocolate giant - which is renowned for for making Dairy Milks, Twirls, Flakes and more - said in a statement ahead of the exciting product launch.

Retailers that sell a winning egg could win the top-prize of £1,000 for themselves and their store. Other prizes up for grabs include cash prizes from £25 – £500, as well as Amazon vouchers, at a time where UK households could do with the handy windfall amid the Cost of Living crisis.

Charlotte Parkes, senior brand manager for Cadbury Easter, said: “We loved seeing shoppers rise to the challenge of finding the delicious half-milk chocolate half-white chocolate Cadbury Creme Eggs to win their prizes. To those who weren’t so lucky – don’t worry! We’re giving you the chance again this coming Easter, with a prize for retailers too.”

Also expanding is the Mini Eggs Bar, which will be available in a 360g gifting size nationwide. The Cadbury Creme Egg Bar will see the iconic brand taken into tablet format for the first time ever in the UK, Cadbury has also said.
