Fans of gaming can get themselves a good deal at Amazon as the retailer has slashed £120 off the price of the Xbox Series X. The console normally retails for £479.99 on the site.

But as part of Black Friday, shoppers can snap one up for £359.99 - a saving of 25 per cent. The item boasts 4.8 out of 5 stars from reviewers on Amazon with over 13,000 ratings.

And one person even said that it converted them from Play Stations to Xbox. They wrote: "I've been an PS boy for as long as I live. Dabbled a bit of the Xbox 360. It was good when I was younger. The Xbox series X however, mashed everything together.

"With the ability to play old games like fallout 3 and more. The quick resume feature is pretty nifty. As Microsoft rapidly acquiring studios, you’ll need the X for the exclusives."

Another wrote: "Very please with Microsoft’s latest edition for Xbox. This console performs spot on. I’ve actually had mine a little while now with no concerns to report!"

"Great for gaming, very easy to set up too, wish it had more storage as the new games are massive," a third said. A fourth person added: "Love it. Nice size. Graphics and sound are superb."
